Her other cousins are Diva Zappa, Dweezil Zappa, and Moon Unit Zappa. Lala is also the niece of Frank Zappa. Tried out for, but did not get, the role of "Casey" in Prayer of the Rollerboys (1990); this would have been her third film with Corey Haim, who personally recommended Lala for the part.
