Happy Birthday, Robin Brooke! Another year older, wiser, and possibly more skilled at scrummaging birthday cake than anyone else we know. From locking down Auckland's forwards between 1987–2001 to giving your all in not one—but two Rugby World Cups (1995 & 1999)— your legendary tackles and fierce determination still echo (and a few opponents might still feel them!).We also fondly remember when you captained the Blues in 2001-02. Leadership suits you—just as much today as it did back then. Hope you're celebrating like you've scored the winning try again—it never gets old, does it? Cheers!
