Dean Measor is an English and Australian actor who had to quit acting and performing at the end of 2005 due to very poor health. I miss him as he was a very good stage actor and performer. Happy birthday and many happy returns. Dean Measor (born Dean Gary Measor, October 3, 1965) is an English and Australian film, television, voice, radio and stage Actor. He is probably best known for his portrayal of champion jockey Joe Byrnes in the feature film Horseplay and for providing the voice of Beauville in the horror movie Body Melt. He made his professional acting debut in Sheffield, England, in 1989, starring in the pantomime Little Red Riding Hood. He featured in the very popular documentary Commedia dell’arte: The Story The Style as Puck. Short Film credits amongst others include the award winning I Can’t Get Started, Ain’t Got No Jazz, Occupied, Misfit, Stealth Panthers, The Colour of Impotence, Real Time, Mourning After, Cheltenham Wick City, Sad Sack, Fun and Snare. His Stage credits amongst others include: The College Room, Macbeth, The Master Singers of Nuremberg, Peter Grimes, La Traviata, Cosi fan tutte, Lucia di Lammermoor, Little Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin, Who Will They Clone Next and Hot Wax. Television credits include the series Neighbours, Pig’s Breakfast and Interactive Flesh. In 1993, he wrote, produced, voiced and presented 52 consecutive episodes of “Dean’s World” for 88.3 Southern FM radio in Australia. - Anonymous (2 years ago)
