In 2007 qualified for Provincial Long Course Swimming Championships, but woke with Chicken Pox the week she was supposed to swim so was unable to go. Known in her swim club as "Jim". In 2006 she was one of only 13 girls in the Province of BC to qualify for Provincial AAA Championships (swimming )in July in the under 11 age category. Actually only 2 girls in the province under 10 qualified. Got her "Canadian Age Group National" swimming qualifying times in July 2009.
