From age 12 began completing various courses at the Australian Theatre for Young People; including Shakespeare, Script to Stage, Clowning Around and Musical Theatre. She didn't get her ears pierced until she was 20, in 2010. Each year she took part in the school's Shakespeare festival, ultimately winning the 2005 state final in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
